Connect Events

Doyenne Connect meetings are casual networking events that are held each month and are open to the public. At every meeting we highlight one of our entrepreneur members. She shares a little about her entrepreneurial journey:

  • how she came to be an entrepreneur,
  • the challenges and opportunities she has encountered, and
  • some of the lessons she is learning along the way.

This is a wonderful way to connect with other people who support women’s entrepreneurship and learn more about Doyenne.  If you are new to Doyenne, this is a great way to get started. You can buy tickets in advance here OR pay at the door. Please note: you can bring a friend with your ticket.

Doyenne has developed a unique and transformative professional development experience specifically designed for women entrepreneurs. Our Retreats create the opportunity for entrepreneurs, and when appropriate their teams, to work on a strategic vision and plan with input from a variety of experienced coaches from our community.

While most entrepreneurs recognize that they need to develop a strategic plan, they rarely do so. The Doyenne Retreat provides:

  • A room, flip charts, markers, post-its, etc.
  • Physical nourishment with yummy food and drinks
  • Emotional energy by having peers engage in the hard work at the same time
  • Experienced mentors from the community who provide feedback/input/connections

This is NOT a passive conference. Is isn’t another occasion to listen to a bunch of speakers talk in generalities, leaving you to figure it out on your own. The Retreat is an intense experience where you work on YOUR venture the entire time with mentors who provide input specific to YOU.
The registration fee for the Retreat is $300 (for up to four team members). Doyenne limits the number of ventures that can participate in each Retreat so that we can offer the level of attention and support you need to do the demanding work. We encourage you to apply early.
