The Doyenne Group, Inc., a Wisconsin Non-Profit Organization, ("Doyenne,” “we,” “our” or “us”) supports a policy of openness regarding the collection and use of client personal information and anonymous information. We have adopted and implemented this privacy policy ("Policy") as part of our commitment to protecting your personal information from misuse. We encourage you to read this Policy to learn more about the ways we collect, use, disclose, and protect the information we gather through our Evergreen Fund (“Program”). If you are not comfortable with any of the practices or policies described in this Policy, we ask that you discontinue the Program. 

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION 
Any individual who visits our site, whether they apply for the Program or not, is an “Applicant” for the purposes of the Policy. When you apply for our Program, you voluntarily submit personally identifiable information. The information you provide is used to fulfill your specific request. This information is only used to fulfill your specific request unless you give us permission to use it in another matter, for example to add you to one of our mailing lists or add you as a Member of the Doyenne on our website. 

We also collect anonymous information which does not personally identify any Applicant. The anonymous information only applies to the use of our website, https://www.doyennegroup.org/. We like to track where Applicants are on the website in order to make the site more friendly and accessible. 

COOKIE POLICY
We may use the standard "cookie" feature of major browser applications and other data capture mechanisms that allow us to store data about your usage of our site.  

Cookies are small text files that we send to your computer and are sent back from your computer or mobile device to us each time you use our website and apply for the Program. They are unique to your account or your browser. Session-based cookies last only while your browser is open and are automatically deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies last until you or your browser delete them or until they expire. 

Some cookies are associated with your account and personal information in order to remember that you are logged in. Other cookies are not tied to your account but are unique and allow us to carry out site analytics and customization, among other similar things. If you apply to the Program through your browser, you can manage your cookie settings there but if you disable some or all cookies you may not be able to apply to the Program.

In addition, we use third parties like Google Analytics for website analytics. You may opt-out of third party cookies from Google Analytics on its website. 

Applicant Data- Personally Identifiable Data and Anonymous Data 
We collect both anonymous information and personally identifiable information about Applicants. All information collected is referred to as “Applicant Data” in this policy. 

Here are some examples of Applicant Data that we categorize at personally identifiable information which Applicants voluntarily provide to us when they apply to the Program (but keep in mind they are only examples and there may be others): business name, name of the owners of the business, ethnicity/race, gender, social security numbers, financial projects, addresses, emails, phone numbers specifics about the business that are shared by you in the application process. 

Here are some examples of Applicant Data that we categorize as anonymous information (but keep in mind they are only examples and there may be others): Internet Protocol address, the address of the web page you visited before using the Services, your browser type and settings, the date and time of your use of the website, information about your browser configuration and plug-ins, language preferences, and cookie data.

Program Users 
The Program is not intended for children under eighteen (18) years of age. Anyone under the age of eighteen (18) is ineligible to apply for the Program. Doyenne does not market any services to children under eighteen (18) years of age or knowingly collect any information from children under eighteen (18) years of age. 

USE OF Applicant Data by Doyenne 

Personally identifiable information: We use the personally identifiable information we collect from our Program directly from you or from those individuals and/or entities you may authorize to act on your behalf for: (i) authenticating and verifying authorized use of our Program; (ii) supply of information; and (iii) complying with our regulatory obligations or as required by law. We do not use personally identifiable information for another purpose without the requisite consent from Applicants. 

Anonymous information: We use the anonymous information we collect from our Program to improve our Program, determine how our website is being used, analyze trends and usage patterns. We may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server. The information you submit to us either via our Program or via e-mail may be used to provide you with the response or other services you have requested. It may also be used, together with the information we collect via various methods such as cookies, to identify you as a particular Applicant. Additionally, your information may be used in aggregate, statistical form to track and measure Program usage including, but not limited to, Applicant preferences, interests, demographics, and traffic patterns; and to determine trading volumes, audience size and repeated usage. We may then use such data, together with information collected from other Applicants, to manage and customize our Program in order to improve it, enhance customer service, and provide tailored services. Furthermore, we may use the information we collect from you to contact you about our products and services. THIRD PARTY ACCESS TO INFORMATION:  We may engage third party companies or individuals to process Applicant Data. 

Other Types of Applicant Data Use

Doyenne may share or disclose Applicant Data and other information as follows:

  • During changes to our business structure. If we engage in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, dissolution, reorganization, sale of some or all of Doyenne's assets, financing, acquisition of all or a portion of our business, a similar transaction or proceeding, or steps in contemplation of such activities (e.g. due diligence).

  • To comply with laws. To comply with legal or regulatory requirements and to respond to lawful requests, court orders and legal process.

  • To enforce our rights, prevent fraud and for safety. To protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of us or third parties, including enforcing contracts or policies, or in connection with investigating and preventing fraud.

  • We may disclose or use aggregate or de-identified information for any purpose. For example, we may share aggregated or de-identified information with our partners or others for business or research purposes. 

YOUR ACCESS TO INFORMATION 
You may request from us certain information about you including, but not limited to, any information you have provided to us before, during and after applying to the Program. Requests should be sent to info@thedoyennegroup.com.  

SECURITY 
Your personally identifiable information is kept secure. Only authorized employees, agents and contractors (who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential) have access to this information. All emails and newsletters from this site allow you to opt out of further mailings.

CONSENT 
Any information you submit to us via our online forms or applications or via e-mail is provided on a voluntary basis. When you apply to the Program, the collection, use, and distribution of your information will be handled according to the terms and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy. By using the services within the Program, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this Policy, including personally identifiable information that Doyenne may collect. If you object to any of the policies outlined in this Policy, we ask that you do not submit information to Doyenne or apply for the Program.  

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update or modify this Policy at any time. When we do update this Policy, we will change the date at the top. Continued participation in the Program constitutes your agreement to the revised policy.
