DG: What is the name of your organization?

Latino Chamber of Commerce of Dane County

DG: What is the goal/mission of your business?

LCC:
The Latino Chamber of Commerce of Dane County assists Latino and non-Latino entrepreneurs to start and grow their businesses.

DG: What made you decide to start your organization?

LCC:
LCC was originally founded to be a resource for Latino entrepreneurs, filling a need to offer business services in Spanish.

DG: What is your biggest accomplishment in your organization to date?

LCC:
In 2016 we hired our first Executive Director. In 2017 we launched the Emerging Business Development Center to closely mentor startups. The center offers office space, access to technology and coaching.

DG:
What are three things that people may not know about your organization?

LCC:
LCC has about 225 member businesses. About half of them are Latino-owned, and the other half supports our mission. You do not have to speak Spanish.

DG: What words of advice do you have for aspiring entrepreneurs?

LCC:
If you have a business idea, contact us. We offer free business consultations. We can refer you to workshops and help connect you with others to help you get your business going.
