announces its closure
After 14 years of making an impact on more than 5,000 women and marginalized gender(s) entrepreneurs, Doyenne’s Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to close.

Doyenne began in 2012 with a question: “Where are all the women?” Rather than continue asking, our founders did something about it.
Since then, Doyenne has impacted more than 5,000 entrepreneurs while changing the way women and marginalized gender(s) entrepreneurs are seen, supported, and invested in. We’ve built programs, created connections, shared knowledge, and worked alongside an incredible community committed to building a more equitable entrepreneurial ecosystem.
None of it would have been possible without you.
To every entrepreneur who trusted us to be part of your journey, every funder who invested in our mission, every partner and collaborator who worked alongside us, and every person who believed in our mission: thank you.
Thank you for believing in Doyenne’s work, showing up for one another, and helping us build something bigger than ourselves.
While Doyenne is closing, the need for this work remains. Today, there are more organizations and resources supporting women and marginalized gender(s) entrepreneurs across Wisconsin than when Doyenne began, and we are proud to see partners across the state carry that vision forward.
She Stands Tall Forward, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to fueling the growth of women entrepreneurs.
She Stands Tall Forward centers both the technical and relational sides of entrepreneurship, creating intentional and inclusive spaces where learning meets connection.
As Doyenne steps away, we encourage entrepreneurs to continue building their networks of support through organizations like WWBIC, She Stands Tall, and the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center (SBDC).
Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation (WWBIC) opens the doors of opportunity by providing individuals who are interested in starting, strengthening or expanding businesses with access to critical resources such as responsible financial products and quality business and personal finance training.
The Wisconsin SBDC offers consulting, education, referrals, and sophisticated tools and resources, whether you’re just getting started or looking for ways to improve your business.
